RT-AX86U Traffic Analyzer Statistics No Longer Working

FW updated to 3.0.0.4.388_23285-g5068da5 a few days ago. Traffic Analyzer seems to be working normally again.

RT-AX86U Traffic Analyzer Statistics No Longer Working

Clearly it is a bug. I was just glad to see it started working again, even if it's not permanent. I'm just waiting for the fix in the new FW as well. Hopefully it will be released soon...and doesn't break something else.

RT-AX86U Traffic Analyzer Statistics No Longer Working

Follow-up: After deleting the current Analyzer stats and turning it off and then back on again yesterday as bbunge suggested it is working again.

RT-AX86U Traffic Analyzer Statistics No Longer Working

Begs the question how something like that makes it thru testing…😲

RT-AX86U Traffic Analyzer Statistics No Longer Working

Thanks for the reply. I went ahead and deleted the current Analyzer stats and turned it off and then back on as you suggested. I’ll take a look at it tomorrow to see if stats are back. I’d really like to avoid a reset if at all possible.

RT-AX86U Traffic Analyzer Statistics No Longer Working

I'm on FW V 3.0.0.4.388_22525-gd35b8fe which as far as I can tell updated on 4/13. I'm seeing no data in Traffic Analyzer Statistics. I don't recall ever having an issue with the statistics before although full disclosure I rarely check it. I see data in the Traffic Monitor but nothing is being...

RT-AC68U Traffic Analyzer not keeping data on latest firmware

Sorry, I misread the thread title, This is on a RT-AX86U. I'm on FW V 3.0.0.4.388_22525-gd35b8fe which as far as I can tell updated on 4/13 and am experiencing the exact same issue, no Traffic Analyzer Statistics. I don't recall ever having an issue with the statistics before although full...

    XT8 normal behavior?

That is true but that was not the question. I didn't think I needed to include that detail in my point. I was just saying that whether you are using a XT8 as the main router or using a RT-AX86U as the main router, if you are using Ethernet backhaul the XT8 node can use both 5 ghz radios for...

    XT8 normal behavior?

Good point although IIRC that is the case if you are using all XT8’s with WiFi backhaul as well. My sense was that he was questioning if it was different when using an RT-AX86U as the router with XT8 nodes, like I am and suggested, and using Ethernet backhaul vs using all XT8’s with Ethernet...

    XT8 normal behavior?

If your main router is somewhere unobtrusive and out of the way you may want to consider just replacing that XT8 with a RT-AX86U and keeping the rest of the XT8’s as your AIMesh nodes. I did that and it solved all the issues I was having with using XT8’s for everything including the main router...

    XT8 normal behavior?

Just as another point of reference, I had a pair of XT8’s that I was using, one as the main router and one as a AIMesh node (using Ethernet backhaul). Put up with it for 2 years during which time it was never 100% stable, I was always having to tweak and fiddle. Finally gave up and replaced the...

At my wits end (XT8 Mesh)

After 2 years of instability and constant fiddling with my 2 node XT8 system (main router and 1 node which was using Ethernet backhaul) I finally gave up almost 2 months ago and replaced the main router with a RT-AX86U. I still have the one XT8 as a Aimesh node (still using Ethernet backhaul)...
