    More RT-AX58U woes

I've upgraded my three RT-AX3000's to 386.4, and this is the first firmware update since 384.19 that's been stable for me. I had been experiencing random crashes and reboots on all 3 units with prior versions of 386.X (also happened on the stock Asus fw.) But yeah, the AX58U / AX3000 model is...

    More RT-AX58U woes

I actually have three RT-AX3000 units that all exhibit this same behavior. I wouldn't suspect all three are simultaneously faulty. It definitely could be environmental though. Some similarity in the lan environment that's not obvious.... unit 1 (main router) $ ssh [email protected]...

    More RT-AX58U woes

My experiences with this model are *very* similar. It's pretty solid on 384.19 (see uptime below), but on all the other 386.X firmwares I've tried, it will intermittently crash + reboot on its own. Did you find any stock 386 firmwares that were stable for you? If so, which specific version...

    RT-AX58U crashing on 386.2 beta 1

https://dongknows.com/asus-rt-ax3000-rt-ax58u-review/ This article implies that was the case at one time in the US.

    RT-AX58U crashing on 386.2 beta 1

The AC86U is a different model completely. The AX58U and AX3000 are pretty much the same. I think the difference is basically the retailer you purchased it from. The AX58U is exclusive to Best Buy, and the AX3000 is what you get at every other retailer.

    RT-AX58U crashing on 386.2 beta 1

Have you tried rolling back to 384.19? I experienced crashes like this every few days on the 386.x releases from stock asus + merlin on my RT-AX3000’s. The last stable release (for me) that doesn’t exhibit this issue is 384.19.

    More RT-AX58U woes

I have three RT-AX3000's (nearly identical to the RT-AX58U's). One is operating as a router, the other two as standard AP's without AiMesh. I've found that these units randomly reboot on firmware variants from 3.0.0.4.384.10177 - 3.0.0.4.386.41700 on stock Asus, and the Merlin 386.1 builds.)...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 376.49 is out

Bug report: Upgraded my RT-AC68U to 376.49, then factory-defaulted the unit. While reconfiguring my settings, I observed that when attempting to add a new userid/password combination underneath an OpenVPN Server instance Server 1, clicking the + sign underneath Add / Delete to add the userid...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 376.49 is out

That's odd. I just upgraded my RT-AC68U to 376.49, and port forwarding is working just fine for me.
