    get your system setup so that all your devices connect properly first, then I would work on internet speeds.. only fix one issue at a time, then move on to the next..reboot your system after turning off smart connect

    yes, rename the 5-2 band something different, you may have to reboot the system, then check your devices for the "new" network name..

    open the router firmware, and go to the AIMESH mode tab, click management, and then make sure in the drop down you choose "ethernet"...give it a few minutes, and you should have your wired back haul enabled. I renamed my 5g-2 to a different name, rebooted everything, and it was there and working...

    QOS will definately slow your speeds down, especially if you have gig service, so dont enable it if you dont see the need for it..

    isnt an eax 80 dual band, versus the ex 7700 being tri band? isnt it better to pair a tri band router with a tri band extender? I know the 7700 is only wifi 5, thats where I have been confused.. thanks!

    Is it best to stick with a tri band extender, while using a tri band ax router like this one, or does it matter? The dual band extenders seems to get better reviews than the couple of ax tri bands that netgear has.. thank you
