    Did an upgrade using the ASUS app from the previous official release to this one. No issues so far. A bit disappointed to see no new features, last firmware was 4 months ago. Weren't we supposed to get 802.11k/v/r stuff by now?

    AiMesh nodes always use DHCP?

    I agree that setting a static IP on critical network devices is more important than people think. If power goes down some devices may never recover by themselves. I've had this issue where my Home Assistant running on a rPI and attached to a UPS lost his IP and couldn't get a new (same) one...

    I'm not assuming the Lyra to get 386 and AiMesh 2.0, so I went ahead and ordered a 2-pack of AX92U. i was under the impression that the "switch" issue was resolved in the most recent firmware: 1. Fixed Ethernet backhaul through switch issue But I was planning o hook them up directly anyway :)

    Thanks for this, I was able to give my 5Ghz-2 onmy Lyra the same name as the other 2 again this way. I don't have an option for this in theinterface or app sadly. Getting a 2-pack AX92U next week, hope they fixed this poperly in AiMesh 2.0 :)

    I purchased them when they just received the AiMesh firmware and started with that version. I agree they were very unstable when you turned them on, which somehow got better after 10 minutes.     Yeah sorry about that, edited the link. It's not on the ASUS site yet. Have it running for a few hours now as part of an AiMesh group, no issue so far. I'll assume the update contains the same security fixes as for the other models it was released for today.

    I understand your remarks, but updates in general have been slow for Asus the past months. I'm running an AC86u + 3 Lyra as an AiMesh (Access Point only). The firmware that came out today has been running for an hour now without issues :)
