Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.3 beta is now available

So it still looks like there are problems. While I was able to conect it as a Mesh Node to the AX88U, I've watched it for the last 24 hours and haven't seen any clients connect to it with wireless backhaul. Trying now with wired, but not looking any better. Not ready for prime-time, yet.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.3 beta is now available

Yes, RP-AX56 running 386.42860 fw version, connected mesh node with 386.3_beta2 on AX88U Mesh Router. Since the AX88U is AI 2.0, I'd assume the AX56 must also to connect. I could be wrong.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.3 beta is now available

Running B2 for a couple of hours, all working, even RP-AX56 playing nice! Dirty upgrade from B1. Also note: AMTM and Entware updated after B2 load.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.3 beta is now available

Quick note before I dive into Beta 2... With Alpha 386.3 my RP-AX56 would not connect as Mesh node. I updated the RP fw to latest, tried again, no luck. I waited, was able to add as Mesh node with 386.3 Beta1 successfully. Will update to Beta2 later today to see if it continues to connect...

Help Please..Need assistance stopping outbound connections!

I have 2 EZViz (doorbell, motion floodlight/cam) and a Yoluke (dome) wifi cameras on my network, all 3 from China manufacturer. I have them blocked in parental controls by MAC ID. I've seen them change the first 3 sets of their MAC to get around the block, last 3 remain consistent. I've put them...

RT AC68U can't achieve more than 600Mbps on latest firmware

Turn off any scripts - Skynet causes me to consistently measure 500-600mb. Turning it off gets me 900+ on a 1gb cable on my AX88U. And as @Kanji-San noted, don't run speedtest from the router in the browser UI, use a pc with ethernet connection. This to be expected, not enough CPU on the AC68U...

386.2_2 - A new version of firmware is now available

Similar experience, but on AI Mesh node. Was running 386.2_4 on main router, 386.2_2 on node. Flashing signal was telling me an update available. Update check disabled.

    Version 3.0.0.4.386.42819

Not sure you'll get much response in the Merlin forum. The latest @RMerlin release 386.2_4 is based on: "Merged with GPL 386_42095". You may want to check the Official AsusWRT forum. I saw that release notice too and am keenly interested in what #3 addresses.

Release ASUS RT-AX88U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.386.42820

Do you have any experience with Guest 1 over Mesh on this firmware version?
  13. W

For those having stability issues on AImesh with wireless backhaul, downgrade to 384.13

Just enable SSH on the main AI Mesh Router... locate the IP of the Node in the DHCP table. Open a putty session on the Node IP using the main router UID and PW.

Release ASUS RT-AX88U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.386.42819

Likewise, I'd like more details on the AI Mesh fixes. Is Guest 1 now usable over AI Mesh?
