How do I use this script?

Also make sure it's executable - chmod 755 or something on it.

detect wifi connected devices on aimesh node

What type of aimesh nodes are you running? Could you run the script on them?

Need a script that auto reboot if internet is down

Thanks. For my purposes I'm thinking about skipping the Is_Private_IPv4() method entirely. I think I will drop it to two minutes too and probably remove some of the guts to create a "CheckLan.sh" for this node. For now it's appears it is working though. Thanks @Martineau, great script.

Need a script that auto reboot if internet is down

Well, it seems to be working, will need to see next time it would go offline. Oct 7 16:35:01 (ChkWAN.sh): 19116 v1.17 Monitoring WAN connection using 4 target PING hosts (192.168.1.1 192.168.1.1 9.9.9.9 1.1.1.1) (Tries=3) Oct 7 16:35:01 (ChkWAN.sh): 19116 Private LAN 192.168.1.1 will be...

Need a script that auto reboot if internet is down

If I were to move an AC3100 (merlin aimesh) there instead could I run it on that? I know I can run scripts, but would a mesh client detect the same WAN down as the main router?

Need a script that auto reboot if internet is down

:-) I can confirm! Thanks. While it looks like you can enable scripts, it doesn't appear the libraries necessary for this script are present.

can you enable scripts on a lyra ai mesh node? I have one in an outbuilding that requires a reboot to reconnect sometimes.

    Enable/Disable Unbound through UI

I'm running nearly the latest version on an ac86u. Diversion/skynet/unbound etc.. I have tried whitelisting everything I can in Diversion to make my Roku's work with Paramount+. The only thing that works is disabling Unbound via AMTM. I would prefer to not bypass the filtering for the...

Error locking /var/lock/amas_entry_list.lock: 24 Too many open files

Disregard: I found a suggestion elsewhere on here about disabling UIDIVSTATS for Diversion. That seems to have stopped it. -------- I don't understand. I have the same issue. All of my aimesh nodes have IP's that are NOT PRESENT in the configured to LAN->DHCP SERVER->MANUAL ASSIGNMENT ->...

AIMesh Nodes working SORT OF, but not showing up in browser or app

I'm interested in making sure I understand that. But, I'm unclear if it applies to met me..there were no nodes showing up in order to remove. Oddly though they were on the network with clients, just not showing up as nodes or registered as aimesh. It was really weird.

AIMesh Nodes working SORT OF, but not showing up in browser or app

Well, it was painful, but I reset them all one by one and they came back. Hopefully that is not a reoccuring theme. Thanks for the help.

I've been dreading it- but I think I'm going to try factory resetting them one at a time.

AIMesh Nodes working SORT OF, but not showing up in browser or app

Well, I reset everything and brought it up in (what I think is) the right order. No change. I can still ping the remote node (wifi backhaul) although its taking over a second at times to reply.

AIMesh Nodes working SORT OF, but not showing up in browser or app

There is at least 1 switch between all the nodes at the 86u router. It's unmanaged, but I will grab a ladder and reboot it to rule it out. Thanks, I'll let you know.

AIMesh Nodes working SORT OF, but not showing up in browser or app

Hi all, first time poster, long time reader. Thanks for the help over the years. I have an AC86u as my main router on Xfinity cable internet. I have 3 Lyra's and 1 AC68U as nodes in my mesh covering a larger two unit home and outbuilding. The Lyra's are in ethernet backhaul with the 68 using...
