    What's interesting is the directions and screen shots in the manual do NOT match what I see on my WebGUI. It's curious if it turns on automatically when you select more than one band on a network, rather than having it as an option like older routers did.

    I found that when I had the 5 and 6GHz bands on the same network that iOS devices on the 5Ghz network had terrible speeds. Android and Windows devices had no issues.     What devices are not getting good speed on the mesh node and on what network are they connected? How are your wireless networks setup? Do you have a separate network for each wireless band? I have these two routers in a similar config and have learned a few things.

    I have a BE88u as a mesh node on my network. I installed the firmware through my router web GUI successfully. I also performed the recommended factory reset. After 24h, no noticeable changes to the units operations.

    What 2.4 GHz drops were you experiencing? I've had the new firmware running fine since the day after the release. But I didn't have drops with the previous version.
