    Thanks for the explanation. It's an AX86UP so it has the 1g wan and 2x 2.5g lan ports. (I am assuming the wan is 1g)

    I use my own router as modem with my Plusnet fiber connection, and it only has 1 ethernet port on ONT connected to the fiber line outside, would I have to use the plusnet modem, put it in modem only mode, and then I'd be able to use WAN Aggregation? Or is it not gonna work? Thanks

    I installed freshtomato on my now old AC68U and i'm back on Merlin on my RT-AX86U, on FT it had an adblocker and you could also add a list of your own hostnames to block, is there an easy way to do this? On FT you can just paste the list into a text box on the web-ui.

    I was just confused because there seems to be a 5 port version which I think is better? or is that just another model altogether? I know the S is managed, but I searched difference in the amazon questions and one reply said the GS103 is newer and has better internals etc?

    Like lossless audio through the nvidia shield, and all the newest visual stuff (TV is an LG C3). I have an RT-AC68u now and an old netgear switch and a GS108Ev3 switch, will anything newer make any difference to this? Thanks in advance.
