    Aruba Instant On Experience?

    Hi Does anyone have any experience with this newer SNB solution from Aruba? There are very few reviews and I know only the classic Aruba AP / IAPs which work in the controller or instant mode. https://www.arubainstanton.com/ I could get two APs with NFR-Discount and I'm wondering if it's...

    RT-AX89X

    Could I plug a 1Gbit Singlefiber SFP Transceiver (10 km/TX1310/RX1490–1550 nm) into the WAN SFP+ Port and get rid of my media converter? In most cases SFP Modules work just fine in SFP+ Slots but who knows

    RT-AC86U Port forwarded traffic max throughput ~ 250Mbps

    The previous router RT-AC87U was even slightly slower. Topology looks as follows: Fiber -> Mediaconverter -> RT-AC86U -> Synology DS415+ direct attached to the router. It only affects traffic coming from WAN to the Synology NAS using various forwarded ports. Mostly WebDAV transfers or Apps...

    RT-AC86U Port forwarded traffic max throughput ~ 250Mbps

    Hi My AC86U is connected to a fiber 1Gbps line and I’m getting ~960 Mbps down/up using fast, speedtest and the like. But any traffic routed through a forwarded port to my NAS maxes out at around 250Mbps. I know my provider is not throttling any kind of traffic so it must be some kind of...

    RT-AC3100 Adaptive QOS default class issue.

    I'm having the exact same issue on AC88U with 380.65, all traffic is being classified as default after a couple of seconds monitoring the page. So for a few seconds I can see the traffic being classified correctly and suddenly all goes into default. Nothing fixes the problem except playing...

    [Official] RT-AC87U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.378.9313

    Luckily we never experienced disconnecting issues with this router in the 5Ghz spectrum using all kinds of AC and N Hardware. Except that the 5Ghz network is killing my Nexus 6 battery in no time and strangely our dated Apple HW (iPad Mini 2 and Iphone 5S) never had disconnecting issues which...

    Asus EA-AC87 CANCELLED?

    Google has finally added DFS support with Marshmallow 6.0. My Nexus 6 works like a charm on Channel 112 in the EU and so does my Chromecast v2. Not sure about the other Nexus Models though but Nexus 5 HW should support it.

    [Official] RT-AC87U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.378.9177

    I bought the new Chromecast with 5Ghz Support and it all works pretty well no matter if I choose my 5Ghz or 2.4Ghz SSID. All apps like Netflix, YT stream without any issues, however "Cast Screen" stops immeditately on the 5Ghz band whilst on 2.4Ghz does not. I've tried enabling IMGP but no...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.52 is available

    I'm getting a lot of logs like these on my AC87U although I'm not sure if this is 378.52.2 related. Apr 7 23:15:52 smbd[635]: [2015/04/07 23:15:52.561994, 0] smbd/server.c:572(smbd_accept_connection) Apr 7 23:15:52 smbd[635]: smbd_accept_connection: sys_fork() failed: Cannot allocate...

    [How-To] Link Aggregation/LACP on RT-AC68U/W/R/P

    I've tried this once as well and got it running, however max throughput from the NAS to my LAN was nowhere near the theoretical 2Gbit/s. With my Cisco SG300 however max throughput from the NAS to my LAN was exactly 228MB/s which is pretty much as good as it gets with two links. However there is...
