Is there a way to use the VPN Director interface to only route some ports on the particular LAN IP to use the VPN, and leave all others to use the WAN? Or do I need to go this route for this type of functionality? Thanks!
I use a VPN service provider (similar to NordVPN etc), which offers port forwarding (opening ports). My understanding is that this is beneficial for some applications, such as BitTorrent.

So, if I'm using, say, a ProtonVPN server that has a dedicated IP, can I use Merlin-Wrt to block ALL IP addresses other than the Proton IP? And if I had some forwarded ports would this make the port forwarding more secure?
