AIMESH with RT-AC66 & RT-AC68

If I have a RT-AC66 and a RT-AC68, can I get AIMESH to work with merlin installed on both? Will the "roaming assist" functionality work fully? Is there a way to make AIMESH and the roaming assist functionality work using both the RT-AC66 and RT-AC68?
