Just bought the AC66U to replace my failing Billion 7800N, and so far, the performance on it, both with stock firmware and with Merlin firmware is outstanding in comparison.
One feature that I miss from the Billion, is what they call 1-to-1 NAT, my setup is as follows:
UK FTTC connection, which is allocated via DHCP (but is static) IP address 95.1.2.5 (Ip address is an example, rather than genuine)
ISP also allocates 95.1.3.160/29; so on the Billion, I'd allocate a second LAN address of 95.1.3.161/29, and use 1-to-1 NAT to enable me to NAT through external IP addresses to specific internal IP addresses;
eg. My CCTV system would be accessible externally on 95.1.3.162 (although it's internal IP address would remain 192.168.1.100), my MAC would have internal IP address 192.168.1.101, but when it accesses the internet, it has IP address 95.1.3.163
Whilst I appreciate that this does not appear to be an option in the GUI, I was wondering if anyone had accomplished this via the CLI; I'm sure I can come up with the IPtables rules once the IP range is routed correctly, just unsure how to go about that.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
