I should have known I'd make mayhem lol. So I've got a cable modem (for my digital tv) and a ADSL-modem (for the computers) handing out DHCP.
Since they hand out addresses from different subnets this causes mayhem.
As far as I know, I can't set a fixed address in the cable box. My computers obviously have one so you may say "shut down one DHCP server". But then I got an idea. Can VLANS solve this little issue?
