2 routers setup

New Around Here
I,

I'm trying to have this setup :

One main router connected to internet via a cable modem and 1 second router (Asus AC68U merlin) connected to internet via vpn (always on)...

What is the best way to achieve this ? Can i access to a printer / airport speaker (connected to main router) from a computer connected to the second router ???

Please be aware that my understanding in networking are very limited ! :)
