2 - TM-AC1900 Wired AP vs AiMesh

I have 2 TM-AC1900 and would like to know which scenario is better. I know I have to convert them from the T-Mobile to Asus firmware. It's a 1300' single floor house with the routers being about 50' apart. I already have a wire from first router to where I want to put a second and would like to know if using as a wired AP would be faster and reliable vs AiMesh in WiFi and to my media streamer that was using the wire?

Also if wired is the way to go would Asuswrt-Merlin configs any better compared to the Asus firmware?

I'm no expert, but a wired setup would always be more reliable and consistent.

Also, I've never used AiMesh since the AC3200 doesn't support it so I can't say.

AiMesh can use an Ethernet connection to connect the satellite AP back to the primary box so why not have the best of both?
