2 x AIMesh with Dual Router Setup RT-AX86U

Hi all

I have a setup like the one posted here with both the main and VPN routers as RT-AX86U.

I have connected a RT-AC86U as a single node aimesh to the main router to extend coverage. I have a spare RT-AC86U and was wondering if it possible to use the spare as a single aimesh node connected just to the VPN router again to extend coverage on that SSID.

Any thoughts or potential issues?

I have a setup like the one posted here with both the main and VPN routers as RT-AX86U.

You can do all of it on a single AX86U router running Asuswrt-Merlin firmware and YazFi custom script.
