3006.102.3 and AIMESH

updated the BE88U to the latest merlin 3006.102.3 from 3006.102.2 and having issues with the only AIMESH node AX86UPRO on stock 3.0.0.6_102_34336. Initially it wouldnt find the node, and now shows weak signal backhaul connection. Is there any known issue or fix to this?

The new firmware base comes with changes in AiMesh. Asus has a note with one of the latest stock firmware versions:

"Please be advised that due to an architecture upgrade in AiMesh, we highly discourage downgrading to earlier firmware versions as it may result in connectivity problems. If you experience any difficulties, we suggest resetting the AiMesh router to its default settings and re-establishing the mesh connection."

Yes did set the aimesh to default and also upgraded the firmware to the latest stock

I believe they are talking about full reset to defaults and starting over fresh. If you did it already and it's still not working properly - perhaps the node's firmware has to be upgraded too. I expect firmware upgrades across the board to reflect recent AiMesh changes.
