3x3 Laptop WiFi Card with 2x2 Antenna?

Hi,

I bought a intel Centrino ultimate N 6300 Card for my Sony laptop, but the sony laptop only has 2 antenna connectors. I left the middle one empty on the Intel 6300 card. Is this the best one to leave empty?

What are the consequences of this?

The consequences are it'll only effectively operate as a 2:2.

Or you could just get an antenna off eBay and stick it in to the laptop taped out of the way and then you can run it as a 3:3.
