Thanks coldwizard. You are probably right, but I don't really need to increase that 150, since it's only during Avast's testing that I get the message.
 
Another way to get rid of this abnormal login attempts is to change the Authentication Method under Administration ---> Settings, to use HTTPS :)
 
Why should https help in this case? Couldn't a client attempt dozens of https connections?

Oh, ok! But I'm not worried about Avast doing the scan. :) I want to prevent other clients from trying to hack my router, be it on port 80 or 443.

I'll stick with the "limit GUI access to specified IP addresses only" for now. Even though that doesn't solve other vulnerabilities: for example it doesn't prevent from logging in via telnet.
