AC1900 running as RT-AC68U how to safely update firmware?

I am operating ASUS T-Mobile AC1900 as RT-AC68U router. Current firmware revision is:

3.0.0.4.384_3299-gfe72567

How do i safely update the firmware to the latest version with AI Mesh capability? Can someone outline the detailed steps?
