AC68U cannot upgrade to 384.6

My AC68U currently on 384.5. No issues in previous firmware upgrades in 2 years.
After the new 384.6 out, upload the fireware in webui, after the upgrade process completed, it still shows the firmware version is 384.5. Tried factory reset, initialize and then upgrade again, but still no lucky. the firmware version seems always 384.5. Any help? Thanks!

Asus is indeed blocking update process on converted rt-ac68u, there is thread here which explain it.
