AC68U with USG and 8-port switch

Right now I have 2 68U's running merlin. I have 1 upstairs, hardwired to the node in the basement (main line is upstairs and server downstairs). Wifi and network works well. I have an opportunity to get a Ubiquity USG and an 8 port switch with POE. If I want to use my 68U's as AP's would this work alright with the USG?

setup right now-
ISP Modem --> 68U --> 68U in basement -->8 port netgear.

So if you're planning on replacing the Asus' routing duties with the USG, but you still want the Asus' WiFi you'd have to reconfigure it as an access point. Obviously some of the functions of the Asus would now not be available, VPN server, QoS, AiProtection, etc.

I guess I'm just looking confirmation that it will work. At least until I can get some Ubiq AP's or something down the road. Thank you for the link - very helpful!.

It will work, just with no integration in UniFi system. You'll see the ASUS routers in AP mode as wired clients at the switch.
