AC86U Client List Stops Working (Firmware 20467)

My AC86U client list just stops updating after a few days (20467). Only way to fix it is a full reboot. I have tried a full reset of the router and started over from scratch, have tried not fixing any client names in the list (it also has a habit of saying things are static when they are not or putting the MAC address in place of the client name for DHCP clients) and several other trouble shooting options.

I have tried both 20467 and the latest Merlin firmware and they both have this problem -- guessing this is an ASUS bug.

Is there a way to reset the client list without having to reboot the router? Everything still functions fine, it is just very annoying that I cannot see an active and current client list.

The connection list on my AC86U is working after many days of uptime (no reboot since updating the firmware whenever it came out a week or two ago). Its even properly reporting the connection type (wired, 2.4G, 5G), but for two devices connected by 5G, its not reporting connection speeds. So no doubt its still broken in several ways.

Out of curiosity... do you have any un-managed switches connected to your AC86U? Been trying another experiment to see if a switch is the culprit (plain vanilla Netgear unmanaged switch). I did not have this problem with some other Asus routers I owned.

Yes, all, but short names (less than 10 letters) with no spaces or special characters. I have anywhere from 8-20 clients on the network depending on who is home and what's turned on.

And I have a second AC86U that is acting as an AP. Its on the other side of that switch.
