Hello,

I want to block certain MAC addresses on my guest wireless. I don't want to change the SSID and/or SSID password, as I have people that still use this guest network; however, there is a specific person I do not want using my guest network.

I realize parental controls and MAC Filtering on this routers ASUS firmware does not block or restrict clients on the guest network. This is a pain and I want to get around this.

I am hearing about Tomato and Merlin. Are you aware if these provide this functionality?

Merlin's doesn't, as I ran into the same issue myself a few weeks back. Your only option is to use a strong password phrase with encryption.

I've been waiting for the Guest network MAC filtering feature for quite a while and Asus support (Jeremy) confirmed that they were definitely going to add it to the firmware.
Apparently it's still not there.

MAC filtering works fine on primary networks.
Why is it so hard to add it to the Guest Network?

Thanks. How long ago did ASUS say they'd add the Guest Wireless MAC Filtering / Access Control List?
