Accessing sub-network usb device

New Around Here
Hi everyone, so here's what I want to achieve. I got DSL-N55U(*1) which I connect all my devices (laptops, phones, tv etc..) and RT-N66R(*2). I've connected the (*2) to (*1) with ethernet cable and connected a hdd to (*2) by using usb. So what I want is while I'm connected to (1*), I want to connect and use (*2)'s samba server. How can I do it? I've set a static ip in (*1) for (*2) as 192.168.1.3, I've changed dhcp starting ip to 192.168.1.4 in (*1) to prevent conflict, also the lan ip address in (*2) is set to 192.168.2.1, also I can see that wan address of (*2) is 192.168.1.3, but no device'll connect to (*2), I want to use it only as samba server. I've closed wifi for (2*).

Ok, I've figured it out. I've changed dhcp range of DSL-N55U(1*) to 192.168.1.4-192.168.1.200 and RT-N66R(2*) to 192.168.1.202-192.168.1.254, (1*) ip address 192.168.1.1, (2*) ip address 192.168.1.201, connected (1*) lan port to (*2) lan port instead of (*1) lan to (*2) wan. Now they're in same subnet.

Edit: I've closed dhcp for (2*), it wasn't needed.
Edit: (*2) doesn't have WAN access. How to achieve this? I've tried Dual WAN but I wasn't able to access (2*) interface after activating it? Maybe I did something wrong?
