Add VPN performance testing to router test set?

While it is a feature that it not commonly desired by your typical end user, the use of VPNs is nevertheless becoming more common, so I'm wondering if you have considered adding VPN testing to the router test set?

We already test VPN performance for products focused on being business-class VPN gateways. But since the methods are not rigorously standardized, we don't include them in the Charts database.

I have considered adding OpenVPN benchmarking. But the additional test load is too much for me to deal with. As you know, VPN setup is often not straightforward. The additional time it would take to deal with each product's quirks would just be another time sinkhole I can't afford.
