I have an Aimesh setup with the main router being an AC3100 with an AC68U setup as the node in my basement. It is on a wireless backhaul. Connection is showing as great. RSSI=-56dbm and using the Merlin Alpha 3 firmware that just dropped, but I've been on Merlin 384.19 before. For some reason the node goes down and disconnects for about 2 minutes a few times each day but it comes right back up. I've set fixed channels for each of the bands and turned off Airtime Fairness.
Below is the system log during the time period of the disconnect.
