First I want to start by saying I do not have qos turned on

I purchased the rp-ac1900 to add better wifi upstairs - I have a 400mbps connection that tests fine when connected to the ax11000
but when upstairs connected to the rp-ac1900 i get no more then 10 mbps even all devices have good connection - any ideas what could be limiting the bandwidth?

I have this exact same setup and experience the same with my wireless backhaul AP that sits in the garage. I have another one that is a wired backhaul and receive a much better signal from that one. I know you're gonna lose some bandwidth on a wireless backhaul AP but wasn't expecting to lose 80-90%.

I solved it by getting another wifi 6 router that supports mesh. I now get 200-400 easily on wireless backhaul. I think there is a firmware problem with then1900 and it also shows on a few other ones that my friend had the new one I bought is a ASUS ax3000 not as high end as my main but it does a good job at full speed
