amtm amtm 6.6 - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu, April 06, 2026

Minor nit (my OCD kicking in): If one enables autoupdate for supported script and subsequently uninstalls the script, the script remains in the autoupdate list. IMO, the rescan should determine if the script still exists; if it doesn't, then remove it from the list.

If I disable auto update for a script in AMTM, will it still check for updates for that script when I run the u command?

Of course it will check for updates. It just will not offer to update it through amtm, just show the available update version. Same as it ever was.

Thanks for reporting, I missed to foresee that eventuality.

It's not pl, but p1 (letter p and numeral 1)
In my development version I explicitly used p2/p2e as examples for that reason. But then I thought the 2 might confuse users, better use the first option of 1. I should have left the 2 in ;)

Many thanks @thelonelycoder for the personal scripts support! I have a few that are in different directories and now I can call them up in amtm.
I wanted to give users this option for a long time, it just never made it to the top of the list. A user suggested something like this a little while ago. I sat down and here we are. I don‘t remember who made the suggestion.

Can I put MerVLAN in one of those new slots? Or @kuchkovsky ’s?
That‘s what the option is for. However, these scripts cannot and will not receive an update check in amtm. For obvious reasons.

Any script that you want that executes at command line...
I've got a script that's trying to run notepad.exe. And it's not working. Thanks a lot for the bad advice!
