Hi

I have a fiber-router which is set up with lan1-3 as ISP controlled wan connection.. meaning it runs through their router and lan4 is bridged so I can control it as I want.. with what ever router I want..

So basically I have 2 inbound connections from ISP.

anyway to bundle them to get double the joy?

aaand.. as I am writing this.. since it's 2x 1000/1000mbps... then ... my router would have to support 2Gbit network ... crap..

hm.. any other ideas as to what I might use all this bandwidth for?

There are many multi-WAN routers. But they don't give you a 2 Gbps "pipe" from two 1 Gbps.

The total available throughput will be 2 Gbps. But the throughput for any given Internet session will be 1 Gbps. You get a benefit when you have multiple LAN clients competing for internet bandwidth.

You are also going to find that there are very few web sites/services capable of operating at a full, sustained Gigabit rate.
