10G SFP+ DAC cable on RT-BE88U - link doesn't come up

Hello community, I'm trying to get RT-BE88U (running Merlin SW) connected to my LAN switch over 10G SPF+ DAC cable. Switch and DAC cable vendor is the same, so I assume it's OK there, however the link does not come up. I'm seeing this on the router, and the line in red doesn't look good...

I am using sfp+ connection to connect a rt-be88u to a managed switch using 10Gbps DAC Twinax SFP Cable.
So far no issues.

OP is enquiring about a certain device - a DAC. I could have simply replied my 2 SFP+ and OM3 fibres run great, but that is not what's been asked.

Your right. I updated my post to include cable type.

The main advantage with a DAC would be no gaps for dust to get it and reduce the light. The main disadvantage I see would be bigger holes for routing between rooms.
Performance wise? No real difference.
Compatability? From my own reading DACs seem to be more finicky. Same applies to the router's SFP+ port.
@scootertramp which DAC do you have running there?

thanks for all the input have one on the way from amazon.. just seems easier to plug in from my switch or main mikrotik router sfp direct.. they are cheap enaough to test so will let you know.. other benefit is they dont get as hot as copper 10gbe sfps

also what kind of throughput are you getting using the sfp+ with om3 becasue iperf to my internal nas on a 10gbe network i can get about 7 gig to machines on internal net (intel 10gb cards) but the built in 10gbe port (not sfp+) gives me about 4 .. not bad but maybe cpu or port limited.. is the sfp faster and less latency?

doesnt appear to be cpu maxed out when monitoring cpu while it runs..

I've never actually tested the speed on this setup as it's just a 10Gig link from the router to a central switch. The tests I've done previously (multiple file transfers both directions) seemed to top out around 6Gig each direction, which I believe would be a good real-world result restricted by cpu. I don't have enough devices here to see how it's performing right now.
