Hello All,
New to the forum...hope you all can help.
Using the N66U as an access point, going through a Cisco RVS4000 as main router.
Speedtest speeds on all wired connections through the RVS4000 are 55 Mbps down, 11 Mbps up on a service of 50M down and 10M up from Comcast.
Recently, my N66U wireless speeds (Both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) dropped to approximately 10 Mb down, and 8 Mb up, after being stable for over 29 days without so much as a reboot or dropped connection. The wireless speed before this issue was very consistent at around 48 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up (2.4 G) and maxed out at wire-line speeds (5G) during those 29 days. I was running stock 3.0.0.4.370_172.
I tried resetting, unplugging, etc. and the throughput seems stuck at this level.
I upgraded to firmware 3.0.0.4.374_257 and nothing has changed. I haven't tried Merlin's latest as of yet, but will attempt to do so later this week.
The wireless environment hasn't changed, signal strength on both bands is the same, very strong all around the house. inSSIDer doesn't show anything different from my neighbors than it was prior to the issue.
In the meantime, anyone have any other suggestions? Is this a firmware issue, or something else?
Thanks in advance.
