ARP binding on AC68U

Hi,

is there a way to Bind an IP to a MAC address in Merlin firmware?
I think is called ARP-Binding. And NO is not DHCP reservation that is another thing!
ARP-Binding is "anti-spoofing", so that only that MAC address can get that IP. And none can use IP linked to another MAC address (changing it directly in the computer client)

As you can see this old router from asus have ARP-Binding:

I found a way to get the same result using iptables FORWARD rules but it's a little messy to get it work with all my other iptables rules for "VPN selective routing" and Parental Control

Is possible to implement ARP-Binding natively in Asuswrt-Merlin?

I have no plan of implementing this. You will have to do it manually using user scripts.

Hi Rmerlin, sorry to revive a so old post.

Many thanks in advance.
