asus 68r firmware

i been using a an asus ac68r for sometime now,and have always used the stock firmware. i been reading thought this section for awhile now and see a lot of people mention the merlin firmware?

i was wondering which firmware version seems to be best for the 68r?i have never tired the the merlin firmware,so im not up to speed on how to flash it to my router.

I think you would be better using this firmware on your 68 rock solid and has better range then the newer Asus or Merlin builds.
