Asus AX -86U settings

Hello everyone,

I have the above asus router, been experiencing a small disconnect when watching movie/twitch for a few seconds (5-10 seconds). Connection disconnects and then comes back. I think some settings in the router page is causing this but I am not knowledgable enough. I use Wifi 6 and my PC is hard wired using a cat-8 cable into the router.

Also please post if there are recommended settings for this router, I pretty much am using default and the firmware is also default. I have not flashed merlin.

Use Default settings. Or read what may eventually improve your Wi-Fi. This forum is full of useful information. There is no universal best settings.

See the excellent OE's notes as reference. I use all default 5GHz WiFi settings, except fixed BW=80MHz, fixed channel=149, with centrally located high-up in closet, vertical antennas. I haven't touched my AX86U router for what seems like months, and it's been rock solid and blanket coverage.
