Asus DDNS config issue

Fezzik

New Around Here
Hi everyone. I have a configuration issue I can not figure out. I am trying to use the free Asus DDNS at 3 different locations. I have 3 asus routers. Two at 2 different offices (RT-66U x2 ) and one at home (RT-68U). I have comcast at all 3 locations.
I have a server at all 3 locations.

1.)At home I have server 2012r2 essentials, NO domain, and the asus router is handeling DHCP. I was able to easily configure the DDNS with no issues

2.) At both offices I have server 2012 at one office and 2012r2 at another (non essentials edition). I have a domain at these 2 offices and the server is running DHCP. Problem is that I can not use the asus ddns. Am I just out of luck!?!?!?

Things I have tried.
1.) if the asus router is put into access point (AP) mode I do not have any options to use DDNS.
2.) I have put the router into wireless router mode and assigned an ip to it, then turned off dhcp. Get the error.
"The wireless router currently uses a private WAAN IP address (.......)
The router may be in multiple environment and DDNS service cannot work in this environment"

Thanks for the help!

DDNS can only be used if your router is fronting the Internet. If it's behind another router then it won't work.
