Asus ET12 Pro Recommended Switch

HI there,

Can anyone recommend a switch make / model to connect 3 x ASUS ET12 pro nodes to an ET12 router? Looking for 8port, 1G minimum.

I currently have a switch but I am experiencing periodic issues with the nodes disconnecting from the router.

They have 2,5G BaseT WAN ports. I think the cheapest option for 2,5 switch from a known manufacturer currently is the DS105G-M2 from TP-LINK. You can hook that to any 1G switches if you need more ports, or just go for the 8 port variant.

Btw, what type of switch do you have the problem with?

If you connect the nodes direct to the router does the node disconnect still occur?
In other words what leads you to think the switch is an issue or is causing the node disconnects?
Have you checked the router logs to see if anything indicates why the nodes are disconnecting?
Or is the switch not an issue but you are asking for people to recommend a new larger switch?
