Help with Asus Zenwifi Pro ET12

racky

New Around Here
I've searched and can't locate any information on this topic.

Information:
  • (4) Asus Zenwifi Pro ET12 Mesh Routers
  • I loaded the firmware 3.0.0.6.102_36629 on all 4 routers. Three of them are fine and one (which was the primary router attached to the cable modem) has been totally bricked!
  • I sent it back to Asus for repairs (cost $75) and they quoted me $550 to fix it. I can buy a new one for this so i had them just send it back to me.
  • I have tried all options including, 30/30/30, attempt to get into rescue mode, Asus discovery and firmware restoration software, hold down reset, hold down WPS, plugging laptop direct to router to ping or get DHCP to all ports and nothing.
  • I have the unit open and see the 4 pins to possibly connect with TTL but am having no luck with it. I may not be doing this correctly.
  • The router immediately goes to solid white and nothing I do will make it change from solid white in all my attempts above.
My question is, does anyone know how to access this with Putty, etc...?
Is it possible to reset it or the nvram?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Rick

You are assuming software issue. The device may have hardware issue and all of the above is waste of time.
