Am I correct?
Done TYYes. To disable Trend Micro services withdraw the data sharing agreement and reboot.
Did it work for you? You’re having the same issue as me with this new firmware . The firmware previous that got pulled was flawless.Done TY
What I did was a factory reset again, then manual input of all my settings, kept off the Trend Micro and so far no problems. Under 1 day of runtime. I will monotor and report back.Did it work for you? You’re having the same issue as me with this new firmware . The firmware previous that got pulled was flawless.

To keep off the trend micro, is it just withdrawing from the asus privacy notice? What I did was a factory reset again, then manual input of all my settings, kept off the Trend Micro and so far no problems. Under 1 day of runtime. I will monotor and report back.

I went back to 249 and not even a hour in got a disconnect again. Out of options now and went back to an old orbi router.Well I enabled Trend Micro - 3 hours later a massive disconnect. I reset and disabled it again. This is rediculous. I am tempted to go back to the 249 firmware but I am unsure what was changed from 249 to 260

The GT-BE98 needs a lot of work ! I upgraded and I'm still having inconsistent results and honestly for the cost of this router - thats awful !!!I went back to 249 and not even a hour in got a disconnect again. Out of options now and went back to an old orbi router.
Make sure you turn off auto updateI went back to the 249 firmware and again turned on Trend Micro. Stay Tuned

I factory reset after the 249 install, then entered my settings. So far so good. It also seems quicker. I will update here. Not sure if I needed to factory reset after going to 249 but I didn’t. Once it disconnected on me, I lost hope.
