Asus Merlin and DDWRT Client Bridge reapeter

Hi guys, I got an R66U with latest Merlin Build (great job!), I want to connect I DDWRT TPLINK 741ND with the ddwrt build thats works with it on the router page (The router has no issues working as a wired access point to the asus router or like a router itself.). I follow all the instructions on the ddwrt site for the Atheros http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Repeater_Bridge. To make things short, I link the routers, put the router in the same subnet outside the scope of the asus router of course. In the wireless logs I can see the MAC address of the TPLINK but it does not have the IP address and in the ddwrt it says its connected also to the asus, but cant ping or do anything, everything I try to connect to the ddwrt does not get an IP address because the ddwrt is unable to connect successfully to the asus. has anyone have any experience in connected a wireless bridge to the asus? Thanks for the help

I updated the DDWRT TPLINK router to a newer build and it connected to my asus router. If this thread has no use for no one, can be deleted.
Regards
