Asus N56U, AC56U or AC68U for N and AC devices on 5GHz band?

New Around Here
I'm about to buy a new router and I choose between Asus N56U, AC56U or AC68U. Currently I only use dualband-N-devices (iPhone5/iPadAir) in my wireless network but I will buy the next iPhone (which will probably use AC).

I'm thinking about buying the AC56U router since it seems to give most "bang for the buck", but the question is if AC56U have any flaws (comparing to N56U and AC68U) when looking at my device setup.

Are there any major differences in how good/bad the three routers handle a setup of "only dualband-N-devices" on the 5GHz band? And are there any noticable drawbacks in choosing AC56U over AC68U in a setup with both N- and AC-devices on the 5GHz band?

This sounds like it depends solely on your budget (which seems to encompass both routers, so it is not an issue here) and performance wise range would be the only other draw to the RT-AC68U (assuming only dual antenna clients will be connected to the router chosen).

Bang for the buck at this point in time? RT-AC56U.

Bang for the buck if you'll buy another router in 3 to 5 years? RT-AC68U instead.
