hello

i am using asus rt-ac87u with openvpn configured.

i want that if my vpn service fails, that the router keep trying infinitely to make connection to vpn server and never connect to internet directly.
how is this possible?

in other words, never connect to internet directly. only via openvpn configured in it. im using official firmware

right now if vpn server fails, router tries 2-3 times, then starts serving users connected to router via internet directly.

In VPN Client.

Set Redirect Internet traffic to Policy Rules

Set Block routed clients if tunnel goes down to Yes

In Rules for routing client traffic through the tunnel

Add the IP of each device or whole subnet.
