ASUS router with Sky Q

Dknights

New Around Here
Hello,

I have recently purchased a ASUS RT-AC86U router, My ISP is Virgin with a hub3 that is in modem mode and connected to the ASUS via a ethernet cable.

The router is working great on all devices except for my Sky Q boxes, I am able to find the router and connect to it but the connection keeps dropping out then I have to reset it on my Sky box until it then happens again.

Has anyone had the same issues between this router and Sky Q ?

Many thanks

Daniel

I take it that your connecting the Q box via WiFi, if you can Ethernet is the way and disable the WiFi functionality of the Q box.

If you cant do that then best bet is to change the Q wifi bands/channel's (so they dont conflict with the routers as Q try's and set's up its own mesh system).
