ASUS RT-AC1900P Merlin Install - Guest Network

Peter J Diaz de Leon

New Around Here
I just finished installing RT-AC68U_384.4_2.trx on my ASUS RT-AC1900P and everything is working as expected. I just have one question regarding the Guest Network.

How do I monitor what is connected to the Guest Network?
When I look at the "Network Map" then "View List" I see "Wired" "2Ghz" "5Ghz" under Interfaces.

All of my IOT devices which are connected to the guest network show up under "Wired Interfaces"
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Thank you
Peter

On the Wireless Log page, guest clients will have the "G" flag.

It may be a bug inherited from the ASUS firmware. It took me six weeks to convince their Tech people it was a bug. It was finally fixed in firmware release:

Version 3.0.0.4.384.20942
