Asus RT-AC2900 support

Hello,
I have bought this router recently. I think in some countries Asus gave a new name to RT-AC86u. It looks like they have same software and hardware, at least specs in Asus website says so. I want to ask is there any plan Merlin support this model also?

Hash values are the same.
