Asus RT-AC5300 poor WiFi on 5G-2

I have the AC3200, and love it, but like many Asus routers, it's horrible at auto channel selection. Use wifi analyzer on your phone, and manually set the channels!

I tested the AC3200 for nearly 4 weeks, didn't had any issue, and considered for some time whether to keep it. I liked it too.

That's the one thing I can't figure out about Asus?! Their channel adjustments are garbage, hot garbage. I just set up a new ac68P for my brother. Started on the 2 ghz line in full on interference, and wouldn't move. I then look at the 5 ghz line, and it's sharing with another one, with all others open?! It never adjusted, or moved. Same thing across all of their routers, they don't adjust channels worth a crap! I take my time, go to my main areas of the house, and use the wifi analyzer app, then hard lock all my channels. Soooooo, much better!
