Asus RT-AC66U firmware update

Thomas61

New Around Here
Hi ,
I am new here and have had this router for some time and works great but I want to install the latest firmware Version 3.0.0.4.382.50470

The current version is VERSION 3.0.0.4.380_7378

I have tried to download from asus website but keeps coming up with blank page .
I have tried updating through the router settings page but fails to DL .

Does anyone have a suggestion how I can get this update as I need to install VPN on the router which currently I cant get to work.

Thanks

Thanks for your help ,unfortunately with your link still getting blank page in Microsoft edge and cant load page in firefox .

Also do you know why the RT-AC66U wont allow flashing with tomato . ( quite the novice when it comes to the network side of things ) .

The reason I want to update the router is by the advice from expressVPN due to the manual configuration of installing their VPN doesn't work for me ( Open VPN )

Update : tried to DL with internet explorer but still getting "cant find/load this page

Do you have an RT-AC66U or an RT-AC66U_B1? They are very different models - Tomato only supports the first one. You must also make sure to download the correct firmware from Asus, as they are different.

Check your DNS configuration, also make sure your computer isn't infected by malware interfering with your Internet connection.

I think I will just leave it as it's not broken as as the cliché goes if it aint broken don't fix it .

Thanks

Update : Logged into router clicked on update firmware and the update screen appeared with the usual warnings and after clicking OK the router downloaded and updated the latest firmware .

I have to mention this was after a fresh install of windows so I wonder if something I had installed previously was stopping it updating . But having said that ,on the Asus website I wasn't even able to DL and save the file so maybe the Asus website was to blame .

Anyway case solved

Thank you
