Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum and I'm trying to expand my knowledge of routers. I have a Asus RT-AC66u with the latest Merlin build and I'm trying to use it as a repeater. I set it to the repeater mode, it searches for my internet connection and it connects. Everything seems good until I open a web browser and actually try to open a webpage and it goes to the WebGui and says that the parent AP might be turned off. I was just wondering if anyone experienced that and if there were any tips to how to fix it. Just an FYI, my main router is a Netgear R7000 Nighthawk. Thanks for the help in advance.
