New Around Here
Hi guys,

I installed a external hard drive to my router via a enclosure.

I have made three partitions, 2 which are formatted NTFS and the other is formatted to HFS+ for my mac backups.

Everything seems to be running fine but I get this errors messages, what do these mean and how could I prevent them?

Errors have been detected on your hard drive. Remove any damaged files or use a PC to correct system issues.

Router probably cannot do (or do reliably) what you are trying.

Wanted nas like features, but gave up, don't want to risk losing my data.

ended up buying a proper NAS drive...

NTFS don't work so well with Linux.
Everytime I connect it to my PC, it will ask to do chkdsk and return with corrupted. Without fail, this happen so often I decided to give up NTFS and hop on EXT4 recently.
