Asus RT-AC86U wireless keep changing channel

It will do that if your control channel is set to Auto. It will constantly look for the channel with the least interference.
Dual band smart connect is enabled, channel is Auto. Once the channel is searching/changing will affect wireless user?
This few days, keep feeling the network "stuck" at sometimes
